Ban Yang Tong or Bang Chao Cha is the former community from Ayudhaya period. This area is a bountiful area that is important and there are many people who continue to live here for a long time.

        This village is located in Bang Chao Cha sub-district, Pho Thong district, Ang-Thong province, with a population of 3,817 in 718 houses. There are many houses lining both sides of Chao Pra Ya River, the villagers gather together to be a basketry making villagers. Bang Chao Cha's basketry handicrafts are very fine and beautiful. There are both original style and new style. They can improve their handicrafts supply to the market demand, not stuck to the old style till they can export their product to the foreign countries.

        You will stay at Bang Chao Cha's villager house, you can participate in host family routine, learn the Basketry making following the families traditional methods, design and creating products. Besides you can participate in an agricultural plantation, enjoy the former community there are plenty of walk that you can take along the cool shady banks of Chao Pra Ya River.
