Elephant wood carving is a kind of traditional Thai art works. There are elephants in many different postures and sizes. The intricate folds of the elephant's skin, tusks and the trunks especially the eyes are carved in painstaking detail.

Petch Wuiriya, the Bang Jang Nak founder learned the elephant wood carving from Kru Kam-Ai DejDwongTa since 1972 until 1977. In 1988, after he has worked many years in many places, he came back to his hometown and gathered friends to be a realistically elephant wood carving team.
