Ban Nong Phue Noi was established by a mixture of Thai and Laotians just over 26 years ago. They were attracted to the fertile grounds where they grow rice and the close situation to the river Mekong . There are 180 houses in the village with a population of around 600. The village is located in Huay Phai sub-district, Kong Chiam district, Ubon Ratchathani province. There main trades are farming rice and mushrooms, fishing and weaving. The cotton used for their weaving grows naturally along the banks of the river. All the cotton is handpicked and their dyes are natural.

Homestay

        You will stay in one of the villager's houses with their family. Enjoy the cultural experience and learn about Thai cooking and weaving following the families traditional methods. Enjoy the rural environment there are plenty of walks or bicycle rides that you can take along the cool shady banks of the river Mekong .
